We cordially invite participants from all over the world to attend the Inaugural GASND Summit 2025, that is sponsored by the Global Association for the Study of Neurodegenerative Diseases (GASND) on April 20-24, 2025 and co-hosted by National Neuroscience Institute, Duke-NUS, Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, on the campus of Singhealth Academia, Singapore. The conference will offer opportunities to researchers in the fields of neurodegeneration and brain disorders to discuss recent findings, exchange ideas, network, and foster collaborations. We welcome you to join GASND.

Young Investigator Award

Young Investigator Awards are available for trainees (students, postdoctoral fellows and residents) based on the scientific merit and quality of abstract and presentation as assessed by the Awards Committee. Trainees who would like to be eligible for this award must state willingness at the time of abstract submission on the website. Applicants submitting more than one abstract for presentation during the conference must specify which one they wish to be considered for the Award. Only one abstract from each participant is eligible for the Award consideration. Award winners will be selected and recognized in the conference program with an award certificate. An award winner can only be selected from one GASND-SUMMIT conference during his or her trainee membership.

  • Keynote talk: 30 min (25min talk, 5 min questions)
  • Regular faculty presentation, 15 min (13 min talk, 2 min questions)
  • Trainee talk: 10min (8 min talk, 2 min questions)

Registration Fee : Early bird $600 (US dollar); regular: $700

Registration and Abstract submission

  • All participants require registration and all presenters must submit an abstract by clicking on the above link, "Registration and Abstract submission", and signing up for an account to proceed. Be sure to consent to be GASND member (for both current GANSD member, and newcomers) before submitting abstract and pay registration.
  • When submitting an abstract, please strictly follow instructions indicated in the “abstract template” and declare whether you wish to be considered for oral presentation or poster.
  • All trainees (students, postdoctoral fellows and residents) are eligible for the Young Investigator Award competition. Only one abstract from each participant is eligible for the Award consideration. An award winner can only be selected from one GASND-SUMMIT conference during his or her trainee membership. Please indicate in your abstract whether you wish to participate in the award competition.
  • The program committee will select oral presentations from the submitted abstracts. Those who are selected for oral presentation will be notified two-weeks before GASND-SUMMIT-2025.
